Rabab Jafri, MD, FAAP, DABOM

Dr. Jafri is triple board certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Endocrinology and Obesity Medicine

After completing her residency in Chicago, she moved to Boston for fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital-Harvard Medical School. Here she was extensively involved with diabetes related research, presenting her findings at several meetings of the American Diabetes Association.

Moving to the Alamo City after fellowship, she continued her research on diabetes wearables, specially the development of the iLet Bionic Pancreas which is now FDA approved.

She also provides care to pediatric patients presenting with a wide variety of endocrine concerns, including a growing number of youth with excessive weight gain. This prompted her to seek certification in obesity medicine and apply those principles in her clinical practice.

Based in Austin, TX now, Dr. Jafri enjoys traveling, exploring her ‘budding green thumb” and spending time with her family.
